Juniper was created in the future as part of a scientific cabals intent to create a disposible soldier. One of the strands used was from the humanoid feline Tygerboy, who now regards Juniper as his sister. Rescued by a visiting scientist, the pair made their way across country to a temporal portal and came to Paragon City in the present day.
