US Angel was a character I created for two reasons. One because I had a cool costume pattern I used on villains, and that was now available on heroes. Two because I wanted to try something totally different to what I usually play.
In some ways she's my first successful RP character as I used to aways play her IC, even with non-roleplayers, and most people actually believed there was a woman behind the character.

Outgoing,friendly, and prone to fits of hyperactivity. Will often play up to the dumb hick, or ditzy cheerleader type many assume she is despite actually being incredibly intelligent. Has a wicked sense of wit, and sarcasm, and will purposely annoy some people for kicks.

Kelly became US Angel mainly to hunt down the demonic creature that now inhabits her Grandfathers's corpse. However since donning the armour she has found she likes doing good, as well as the attention she recieves.

US Angel is able to channel energy through her battlesuit which she releases in blasts of various intensity, and range.

She is able to release massive energy discharges through her gloves for devastaing melee attacks.

Her battlesuit has an arcane rune inscribed on it giving her the ability to release a devastating attack, very strong against fae creatures. The rune is slowly loosing its power, and US Angel is currenty trying to discover a way of recharging it via technology, and science.

Through a combination of anti-gravity modules, and boosters at the bottom of her boots, she is caple of incredible feats of leaping.

US Angel has an almost intuitive grasp of electrical, and mechanical engineering. She is also a world class computer hacker,and in the past has managed to hack access to both the Paragon Teleport Network, and a Russian spy satellite.
Thanks to a combination of ingenuity, and a slight missuse of the Paragon Teleport Network US Angel is literally able to teleport her battlesuit, equipment, and certain clothing onto her person. Using special transponders attached to her battlesuit, and gear, as well as a wrist mounted control device, she can suit up almost instantly.

US Angel's offensive capability is tied to her battlesuit, or equipment. She has no known superhuman abilities of her own.

US Angel's battlesuit once belonged to Nazi super agent Fraulien Stahl, and has since been heavily modified, and updated by herself. Most of the original armour plating has been replaced with modern lightweight alloys, and the internal electronics, as well as supply has been totally replaced. As well as providing her with offensive, and defensive capability the battlesuit has small jump jets in her boots, as well as belt mounted antigravity modules to provide her with superpowered jumping capability. Lastly the Suit has been inscribed with a mystic rune, effective against creatures of fae origin.
Pump action shotgun, rarely used in combat, but occasionly used to put a point across.
On her wrist she wears a small but highly sophisticated computerised control device. The device allows her to select, and summon via teleportation her battlesuit, equipment, and certain tagged clothing.

Kelly Lang spent most of her early years growing up in Mississippi with her parents. As she grew up it was very apparent she was of a keen intellect, and an almost intuitive grasp of computers, and technology. Despite her intelligence, she continued to grow up as any other normal teenager, and even developed a sort of ditzy personality to mask her smarts.
When she was fourteen a car carrying her Mother, Father, Grandfather (former Golden Age hero American Dream), and herself was in a horrific accident. Her Mother, and Father were killed instantly, while she managed to drag her Grandfather from the burning wreck saving him. From that moment on her Grandfather called her Angel, and she moved to Paragon under the guardianship of her Grandparents.
Graduating from high school two years earlier than her peers, she then enrolled into the University of Salamanca. At University she developed an interest in magic, and the arcane arts. However due to an almost obsessive need to classify magic into science, she has been unable to develop any true mystical ability.
A few years later her Grandfather finally succumbed to old age. Her Grandmother the retired heroine Secret Hope, distraught at her loss, coerced a Circle mage to perform a ceremony to restore the dead American Dream both to life, and youth, but was betrayed. Though American Dream was physically restored, the hero's body now imprisoned a demon within. The demonic presence started to warp, and corrupt American Dream's body into a horrific form. The demonically possessed American Dream murdered Secret Hope, took the name American Nightmare, and escaped to the Rogue Isles. After being briefed by M.A.G.I. about the fate of her Grandparents, Kelly quit University to go after American Nightmare herself.
Modifying the battlesuit once worn by Nazi super agent Fraulien Stahl, and captured by her Grandfather during the war, Kelly registered with the FBSA, and Freedom Corps as the armoured heroine US Angel.
