Originally started as a sort of nod to Bioshock and the anime Gun Slinger girl through various RP situations the character evolved and became my main RP char hero side. All her costumes are in some way anime inspired.

Fiercely loyal to her friends past events and her current situation have made her nilhistic in the extreme; she goes from event to event with out ever considering the future or consequences of her actions.
To look to the future is to have hopes and to have hopes gets you nothing but disappointment.

Sul Darian Tech Blade: Utilizing the information left by being part of Battle Unit Omega she constructed an energy blade capable of various settings of intensity and thus lethality. Currently she has discarded this weapon due to the limited power supply it could carry.
The Demon Blade Mister Sword: Recently acquired this life force absorbing blade drains it’s wielder to empower it’s destructive ability. The blade customarily asks each new owner to name it and so she called it Mister Sword (it being the first talking sword she’d ever encountered).

Cybernetic Soldier: Enslaved by the machine soldier Battle Unit Omega, Sarah found her self turned into a cyberneticaly enhanced killer. Upon her resurrection by Sword of Redemption she was still left with these enhancements and it’s accompanying AI Sigma.
Biological Soldier: Following a course of ‘medicine’ provided by Leandrea; Sarah found her self slowly becoming human again. But Sigma who faced destruction as metal was slowly forced out of her body had other ideas, re-encoding the Archive of Sul Dar as part of her brain the devious AI instructed her nanites to force her bodies regeneration along new paths. Rather than become human she became something else a new species of being faster, stronger and more resilient than human.

Facing the destruction of their empire the Techpriests of Sul Dar encoded their entire library into the AI of every soldier in their final army. This Battle Unit Omega would carry on the memory of their civilization if even one frame in the vast mechanical army survived the final war.
The AI known as Sigma has encoded this information directly into Sarah’s brain in a last ditch attempt to fulfill its programming.
Said Archive gives her access to the entire written and visual works of the Empire of Sul Dar a long dead civilization that worshipped science.

For nine years her life was perfectly normal until one day her class went on a trip to one of Paragon City’s many museums. Wandering away from the group she found a bunch of the mystical thugs known as the Skulls as they were stealing an artifact said to have belonged to Anubis.
Taking both the artifact and Sarah as a human sacrifice it was at the Skulls base that she first met the mechanical soldier Battle Unit Omega; thinking it to be a hero she promised to do anything if it saved her life.
The machine taking her at face value and not the ‘join your fan club and buy T-shirts and stuff’ level of anything that she actually meant it rescued her and dragged her to the Rogue Island. There agonizing surgery awaited her and she became part of the machines over mind, all in an effort of the machine to understand human emotion.
[edit] Cybernetic Soldier Battle Unit Omega
As part of the machine mind she was forced to assist the mechanical menace as it created a virus that would target and depower meta-humans world wide. The machine however got distracted and started a vendetta against the redeemed villain Sword Of Redemption. As the over mind became more erratic its actions angered fellow members of the Terra Liberation Front, it was Sarah who paid the price apparently killed by the blade of the psychotic doctor known as Rip Fang.

Returned to life by Sword Of Redemption; Sarah went home only to be abandoned by her parents as fear and disgust at what she had become erased years of parental love.
Homeless; jobless and with a murderous AI whispering in her head Sarah was forced to find something to do with her life.

Applying for a Hero License she was turned down due to a mixture of her psychological profile and lack of parental support.
[edit] Twilighter
At first discouraged by this knock back Sarah eventually decided that she would be a hero no matter what and thus took to the streets as a vigilante. It was during this period of secret crime fighting that she met her first friend.

During one of her various vigilante actions Twilighter stumbled upon a Hellions drug lab. Deciding that the various ovens and powders made this place a kitchen she hungrily decided to eat a bag of what she thought was either flour or sugar. The overdose would of over whelmed her nanites ability to regenerate her systems had not Leandrea intervened.
Gradually Twilighter began to trust the strange cat like humanoid, and slowly she began to think of her as a friend. Eventually Leandrea offered a way for her to become human again and during the course of medication even a place to stay.
It was while she was exploring Dark Astoria the area where Leandrea had made her home that she discovered the Demon Blade, after it named her as its new owner she named it Mister Sword.

Sigma the AI that existed inside her cybernetics and thus inside her head had but one task ensure that the Archives of Sul Dar survived. Unbeknownst to Sarah the AI was secretly altering her DNA using the regenerative effects of Leandrea medicine to stop the nano-surgery from killing her. In a final blast of spite the AI turned her into a humanoid life form suited for combat.
Her dreams of just being a normal little girl shattered; and with several millennium worth of information stored in her head Sarah still tries to act as a hero.
[edit] Growth Spurt
Not all magical artefacts are without risk, the demon blade carried with it a tainted energy, eventually it would drive its owner mad with battle lust, at least that is what it would do over years of use to a full grown man or woman. In Twilighters case it was killing her, filling her body with a powerful corrupting energy.
As the corrupting energy grew inside her, she found her self sleeping and eating far more than normal, often dropping asleep mid-sentence she tried not to worry her loved ones. She started creating her own food, a gloop like mixture of protein shakes and vitamin supplements, this gave her body the ability to regenerate, to absorb and use the demonic taint to her advantage, it also caused an overnight growth spurt, in the course of a single nights sleep she aged by several years, now able to reach the cookie jar without having to resort to flight, she is happier than ever.

Though weakened by the expenditure of energy, in purging her self of the ill effects of demonic energy, she quickly began to train her body once again, just like any other child she quickly became stronger, powered by demonic energy, reinforced by alien biology and finally possessing the stubborn, mindset of a child that really wants something, Twilighter is now a lot tougher to put down.

A by-product of the demonic energy and her new improved body, she is able to physically manifest her willpower, this she tends to do by creating two blades of pure force, occasionally she creates wings to aid the stability of her flight. With the demonic corruption, and the design of her new body both craving combat, it is by pure willpower alone that she is able to remain relatively sane, well willpower and hugs any way.

At Leandrea's insistence Twilighter enrolled with the New Vigilants, in addition to more mundane lessons and schooling she started to learn better control of the willpower that flows through her body, capable of creating solid shapes of pure will energy the sheer, mental and physical requirements caused by these actions led to a new development.... Twilighter found that she could become tired and thus... sleep and dream.
[edit] Mighty Space Cannon Harkon
Perhaps those who live a comic book life should not read comic books, identifying with Batman she took note of his plans to take down his friends and Justice League work mates.
Coming up with a plan she started to act more childish than even her slim years would allow, hoping that the others would ignore her from their plans should they turn rogue.
Leandrea convinced her to not act the fool, however those that gathered at the statue still considered her a best a child and at worse a moron!
In a rather idle moment Twilighter talked about the idea of building a weapon to fire from space, ridiculed by her peers a rather pissed off Twilighter immediately started work on a space cannon.
The resulting device was named "The Mighty Space Cannon HARKON!" and launched into a geostationary orbit, hovering high above Paragon city, kept up by an atomic furnace that devours space junk and other space satellites.
Her peers were not so happy about the weapon hovering above their heads.
Things took a turn for the worse when the cannon was hijacked by Malta hackers, who fired the weapon on the city, devastating several hidden Council, Crey and Arachnos bases.
Luckily the White Cats and an assembled team of friends who were due for a beach party in Cimoria, were on hand to resolve the situation.
Everyone swore to secrecy and the cannon was scuppered, burning up in the atmosphere, Twilighter was forbidden by her mom from making a new cannon.
[edit] Curse of the Nega-Twilighter
Everything quietened down for awhile, but who could of believed in the vast web of universes something stirred, something eyed the world with covetous eyes and sought a way to claim it.
The multi-verse is a vast place, for every reality where you are you, there is one where you are a hedgehog or a root vegetable. In one such universe the Nega-Twilighter was born, no one knows what caused this negative matter version of Twilighter to reach out and start taking over other Earths.
With her gaze set on a new Earth, she had Twilighter kidnapped by an army of conquered Twilighters, intending her to be used as the key to establish a dimensional bridge, allowing the full invasion of Earth.... luckily the Twi-force, were on hand.
Recruiting adventures from among her friends, family and peers, a Twi-Force agent led them across the dimensional boundaries, a battle ensured and Twilighter was rescued, the Nega-Twilighter and her army stranded for now....
[edit] Power Craze
Gifted with an almost magical ability to adapt, Twilighter started experimenting on her body, exposing her self to increasingly dangerous types of radiation and chemicals, in an effort to gain more and more powers.
It seemed not a day would go past, without her showing off a new set of powers.
But all this had a price, the energy building in side her reached a critical point and she exploded, creating a psionic construct on the mental plane.
Her body managed to repair itself, but losing so much energy had a massive effect, her body was that of a five year old. Awakening on the psychic plane, she was confronted by facets of her personality, some of them at least....
Her body was hijacked by a broken fragment of Twilighters mind, her inner child, the greedy sweet toothed, bear pajama wearing scamp, lingered in the real world until it had totally demolished the snack supplies of the White Cats Abode, then it went home, allowing Twilighter to come back.
Over time she managed to get together enough bio-energy and material to have her body grow back to its correct age, but something was still wrong....

Likes Ice cream; her favorite is Chocky Rocky Funky Monkey a mixture of Fudge and cookie pieces in chocolate and banana ice cream, a small tub has more calories than full grown man should eat in three meals.
