Miss Ellie was my first RP character and her early history is fraught with errors. Most have been cleared up over time, but the most glaring still remains as it's an essential part of her genesis.

Ellie is a generally happy and fun loving woman who has a certain irreverence for authority. She does have a darker side though, should anyone make the mistake of upsetting her.

[edit] Motivation

As a hero, Tiger White is primarily motivated to protect those she loves, and those unable to defend themselves. Though she also has an innate need for justice and honesty, she'll let a criminal go rather than allow an innocent to be harmed.

As a civilian, Ellie is primary motivated by love. She gives her all for those she cares about, and will go out of her way to do anything for them. All she asks in return is a hug!

Beyond her Peacebringer powers, she also has several extra abilities, some granted from her cat side, others either learned through training, or granted by external sources. These include:-

• Enhanced sense of hearing
• Enhanced sense of smell
• Enhanced sight, especially at night. Also able to see bodily energy fields thanks to her Kheldian side
• Enhanced agility and strength.
• Able to extend claws from her fingers by manipulating her Kheldian energy field. These claws are capable of cutting even impervium of up to 2 inches thickness.
• Biomorph. Like all Kheldians, her symbiote retains a body print of every life form it's ever inhabited. Usually they only imitate these other forms in an energy form version, but altering the physical shape of the body IS possible, given enough power. Ellie has mastered this technique, though each form requires much practice. Currently she is able to take on the form of a tiger, a hawk, a dolphin and a kitten. Whilst in animal forms, Ellie is unable to talk.
• Mental Shields. Some time ago a mental shield was installed in Ellie's mind by the other Peacebringers to prevent her being manipulated by anyone ever again. She has no control over these shields but they render her almost immune to unauthorised mental probing. Attempts to read her mind passively will just gain static, and any active attempts to enter he mind will result in a massive psychic feedback on the invader.

• Like all Peacebringers, Ellie can fly at varying speeds. Her theoretical maximum speed has not been measured in energy form.

• An accomplished artist and fashion designer, and runs her own online fashion boutique after her physical shop in Galaxy City was burned down by Requiem's soldiers..

Tiger White uses a costume made of unstable molecules which she can manipulate with her Kheldian energy field; enabling it to take on any form she wishes. This is a very durable material providing almost as much protection as Impervium armour; yet being incredibly thin and flexible, almost like a second skin.

[edit] Genesis

Ellie became a Peacebringer in 2003, after a traffic accident resulted in her mini being crushed under falling construction material. A passing Kheldian offered to save her life in exchange for being allowed to bond with her. On attempting to bond, the Kheldian symbiote, Mikoshi, found himself rejected by Ellie's mutant immune system and was forced to reside partly in the body of her pet cat, Mogs, and partly within Ellie. At this time she did not have feline features.

Ellie's family were unable to adjust to her changes, and her father threw her out of the family home, calling her a "Filthy alien body snatcher". Her girlfriend and life long friend, Katie, also rejected her. All alone, she fled England and spent the next 2 years wandering aimlessly around the world; searching for somewhere where she fit in. During her travels, she had a near death experience and was finally able to converse with her symbiont, who helped her to come to terms with what she had become.

During her travels, she encountered people who tried to hurt her, and exploit her. She also encountered many things you only hear about on the news, and spent much time trying to help others.

Eventually, she found her way to Paragon City, where at last she found somewhere she could be happy. Alas, all did not remain happy.

[edit] Early History

Shortly after arriving in Paragon, she began to make friend. First meeting Kiyarii and her girlfriend Jessica Kade, then meeting Jessica van Steenbergen (Grav Mistress), and Mileena Lim. About this time, she also met an apparent Warshade scientist and doctor during her hero medicals, by the name of Voyd.

Voyd told her, after doing some tests for her medical, that her bonding with her symbiont was unstable. He claimed to be able to help her and performed several procedures to complete her unstable bonding. This resulted in her being permanently blended with both her symbiont and her pet cat, and is responsible for her current appearance now. Unfortunately, all was not as it seemed with Voyd, and it was later revealed he was something else entirely.

It became clear after a while, that Voyd had done far more to Ellie than it had appeared, and some of the truth came out when Ellie apparently went out of control, and killed 15 school children she'd been trying to rescue from some Vahzilok.

Ellie was arrested shortly after this event, and went on trial for her crime.

Before the trial began, knowing now that Voyd wanted to take her away for some unknown reason, Ellie begged Jessica van Steenbergen to kill her if she couldn't stop Voyd taking her. Jessica agreed.

During the trial, all seemed lost; but towards the end, Voyd made an appearance. He made several claims to being some kind of god of the Nictus, and that he had plans for Ellie, but she must choose. Why he was interested in her was unclear, but before he left he adjusted the minds of the judge; causing Ellie to be placed into the guardianship of Jest er, leader of the Cirque de la Lune.

Shortly after the trial, two of Ellie's friends, Kiyarii and Jessica Kade decided to marry. As Kiyarii was from another world, they married in an alien ceremony that bound their souls together. Ellie was secretly in love with Kiyarii, even though she was dating Mileena Lim at the time; and was heartbroken by losing her forever. Desperate for some kind of connection, she begged Mileena to do the same, as she was from the same world as Kiyarii, but Mileena could not. All she could offer was a vampires bite, which would entwine their souls in a similar fashion, but make Ellie wholly subservient to Mileena. Ellie was desperately lonely and terrified of Voyd returning, so she begged Mileena to do it, and surrendered her soul.

For the past 2 years, Ellie has been residing in the South Pacific on Rolando Island, with her wife Jess. She has been retired from hero duty during this time, but makes regular trips back to Paragon City to visit old friends.

As her fashion boutique had been burned down by Requiem's soldiers just before the War Against Requiem began, she has started up an online version of the store and is doing very well.

[edit] Recent History

Following the events in Zero Hour - The Line, Ellie was stuck with the body of a 12 year old, and was rendered powerless. Her wife has recently been able to separate her from the child she merged with and she has returned to normal.

She has recently reactivated her hero license and has designed an updated costume, as the old one was destroyed in her fight with the Rikti. The new costume contains various Kheldian systems designed specifically for combating Rikti. As well as a sophisticated sensor web and targeting assistance, this also contains a neural net that is able to invade electronic systems and disable them.

The suit is coated with a light distorting material which, when energised with a low voltage electrical current, makes the suit and its wearer difficult to see.

[edit] Current Activity

In recent months, Ellie has been experiencing uncontrolled surges of power, far beyond her normal capability. At first this only ever manifested when she was rendered unconscious. Something seemed to take control of her body, something of devastating capability. Zorielle Rolando removed Ellie from active duty whilst the source of her problem was investigated.

After certain events in the Unity Earth dimension, things reached a bridgehead and it became clear that things would have to be done. Ellie's power problem was becoming more pronounced, causing her to be short tempered and aggressive. On 7th September 2008, things worsened as Ellie was arrested for being involved in a bar room brawl in which she badly injured a civilian who had tried to sexually assault her. On 14th September, she was convicted of aggravated assault and battery, and sentenced to 3 years in the Ziggurat penitentiary.

Several days after being imprisoned, Ellie was moved in to the general prison population, against standard procedures. [Operative Seven], already suspicious of the circumstances behind her conviction, rushed to the prison to demand she be placed back in segregation, and was met at the gates by several Vigilant androids of the Unity Vigil. As they entered to interview Ellie and assure her safety, the prison was attacked by [Dr Mechano] and [Wild Red]. Dr Mechano, a former Vigil member, saw Ellie's arrest and imprisonment as a travesty of justice and was determined to free her.

A large battle ensued during which several other prisoners and guards were killed. Eventually, Mechano was stopped by Ellie herself as she refused to be a party to her escape, and punched him with all her boosted strength. Mechano and Red made their escape and Ellie returned to the prison, though was relocated to the Maximum Security Isolation (MaxSecIso) section.

A little over a week later, Ellie was released as her conviction was quashed. The convicting judge AND the woman Ellie had assaulted had both turned up dead whilst Ellie was imprisoned, and Operative Seven discovered enough evidence to indicate everything that had happened had been a setup. Further investigations are continuing, but meantime, Ellie is freed on her own recognisance.
