[edit] Affiliations

Scorchedface doesn't seem himself as afflicted with any groups in paticular. He sees mortals as good for two things; food and servitude.

[edit] Personality

Scorchedface sees all mortals as beneath him and it is incredably irritating to him that he is forced to serve and aid them. This means that what Scorchedface says and what Rusted Sword does are constantly at odds with each other; Rusted might be helping an old lady cross the road for example but Scorchedface is telling her how she is going to die.

[edit] Motivation

Scorchedface would rather not be doing any hero work; in fact given half a chance he would happily reduce the suit to atoms, track down and murder the Quantoke mage's descendants, claim a few thousand souls and then return home (in that order). It is unsurprising that Paragon officals dislike his presence and try to pretend he doesn't exist in the blind hope that when the seals break they won't still be in office.

It is the Quantoke mage's magic that drives Scorchedface to commit good ddeds; or to be more specific drives the armour to use Scorchedface's powers for good deeds. The armour is not sentient and nor is the magic they both merely serve the purpose they were commanded to do.

The armour is forced to protect the mage's descendants and their current area of residence from any who would do them harm; this was seen as a fitting punishment for Scorchedface's previous transgressions.

[edit] Powers

[edit] Primary Powers

Rusted (the armour) draws energy from the essence of Scorchedface and converts it into inhuman strength. As at the time of binding the sword was the most effective weapon it was chosen by the mages to be bound to the armour. The mages also considered the sword to be a further source of irony given that traditionally the sword stood for honourable protection of those weaker than the wielder.

[edit] Secondary Powers

The suit of armour is technically indesructable; while it is true it can be damaged the ancient magics that bind scorchedface merely draw on his power and given enough time all damage to the armour is fixed.

[edit] Additional Powers

[edit] Travel

After hundreds of years of usage the magics that bind Scorchedface to this reality in the suit are starting to stretch thin and tear. Scorchedface, ever the oppotunist, is taking full advantage of this and is able to impose his will over the suit for short periods of time and even allows him to subvert the rules of gravity for extended periods.

[edit] Power Pool

The armour can draw on Scorchedface's otherworldy fortitude allowing it to move faster than a normal man in armour would be able to and allowing the armour to take more attacks before recieving damage.

[edit] Abilities

Subversion of reality is easy for demonic beings due to the fact that they don't strictly belong to our rules of reality having not being born here.

[edit] Vulnerabilities

Rusted Sword is one big vunerability. Binding Scorchedface into the armour means that should the spells ever been undone then the armour will be exposed to hundreds of years of damage instantly. The armour will cease to exist and Scorchedface will once again be free; for obvious reasons few try this and those that do usual lack enough ability to finish the job.

[edit] Equipment

Other than the sword and suit Rusted has no auxillary equipment.

[edit] Trivia

- ((Scorchedface as a demonic entity is transgender and is refered to as "he" purely for the sake of convenience))

- Scorchedface's true form cannot exist on this plane; the closest he can get is a gravity defying inky-black puddle of gunk. As this isn't paticularly intimidating he compromises with a red-skined, white haired avatar.
