Maxine is a friendly woman who tries to look on the bright side of life as much as she can. However, her anger can get the better of her if you push her hard enough, and can become worryingly agressive to anyone who succeeds.

Her motivation is to help the unfortunate. This has been the case even during her days as a theif in England, and as such could be considered a modern-day Robin Hood for her actions.

Max has taught herself all her fighting skills since she figured out she'd need to fight once in a while. While her style is far from up to the standard of readily established arts in the world, it "works" for her, and has never really let her down in the past.

Max gained some form of magical connection to the Netherworld when she was forced to kill an client in self defense. Her weapon of choice (like she really had one at the time!) being a dagger designed for use in ritual sacrifices, which subsequently granted the theif her the ability to draw power from the Netherworld to protect herself, almost immediately after she had drove it through the man's own heart.

Max can run at insane speeds nowadays, even though the Mackem's unsure as to why. She does suspect it's just another effect of the dagger though.

Maxine's past career as a master theif serves her well. She posesses a keen eye for anything that may compromise her job in any manner.

Maxine, like many, is still human. It should go without saying that a few hits in the right place can take her out no problem, although her newfound powers can serve to prevent that, or at least minimise any damage inflicted upon her.

Maxine posesses a digital stopwatch dating back to the late 1980/early 1990s. She prefers to time herself on the job, and set herself targets for completing tasks.
