Lucian is an employee of The Rosetta Foundation

Lucian is currently the Field Leader of the new branch of the Rosetta Foundation that CEO Vctoria Cortez has opened. Lucian reports directly to Ms Cortez, and is effectively her right-hand man in the Isles.

The only people that would really term him a 'villain' are those pen-pushing bureaucrats who make laws forbidding the export of historically important antiquities. Or worse, forbid the exploration of certain historical sites at all. However, there are few that would not term him a rogue.

Not that he's dishonest. At least not in business. Lucian is reliable, and has an excellent reputation. Yet still there's that roguish look, that incurable love of adventure. The incessant need to push the boundaries.

Lucian David Day put in for a transfer the moment he heard that the boss, Victoria Cortez, was opening a new office in the Rogue Islands. It seemed such a perfect location. Lucian grew swiftly bored of pedestrian life at a pedestrian pace. Whether the city was London, Paris, New York or even Tokyo, it was always the same. The cities were a great place to enjoy life's comforts for a while, but visit a few fine restaurants and clubs, show off on the social scene, and seduce a few women, and suddenly all the delights of a city were tasted and dull.

He always found himself heading back out into the field, preferably somewhere with few boundaries and plenty of excitement. Somewhere he could use his cunning, live on the edge, and feel like a modern-day cowboy or some other adventurer. He had to admit it, he was an adrenaline junky, only really happy when taking risks, and making the big scores in the face of adversity.

It seemed to him that the Rogue Islands might offer him a unique chance to mix both ends of the spectrum into one life. All the trappings of civilization without actually being too civilized. A place where he could both spend his money for luxury, and still have plenty of thrills and dangers in making a living day to day.

They say that Recluse's stormtroopers alone offered danger enough, but on top of that was the thrill of all the criminals that made the place their home... or maybe their lair. Even meta-humans... in droves they say.

High risk, high reward. Just the way he wanted it. Sure it would be dangerous. That was the point. He loves taking risks. He is good at beating the odds. It is what he does. They call him Lucky Day.

Lucian is a die-hard adrenaline junkie. He is only really happy when pitting himself against the odds and playing for high stakes.

He is an avid collector of certain antiquities himself. Scrolls, Grimoires, some Relics. Stuff associated with the arcane and magical. He's always been fascinated by it. Occassionally, these things offer something more than just a fascinating history or colourful legends.

Powers? You think he's a meta? You've been reading too many comic books, my friend. Lucky Day makes his way in this world through his wits, talents, knowledge, and contacts.

Lucky has a gift for recruiting, training, and leading gangs. Colleagues say you could drop the guy anywhere in the world and before the day is out he'll have a loyal gang formed. He's also an excellent marksman and highly proficient with pistols.

Lucian has collected many unusual artifacts and relics. Many are reputed to have magical properties. Rumours persist that Lucian has mystic powers, and can call on dark forces. Lucian himself usually laughs this off saying "Some people really hate to admit I'm simply better and smarter, don't they?"
