Due to his rough childhood, Kendean is untrusting of other people. He can be quiet and shy around people he dose not know, preferring to keep a distance. He does not like to jump in and start talking to strangers, but if you approach him he'll be happy to talk to you.

Due to his martial arts training, Kendaen has a strong sense of right and wrong and honour. He will not kill an opponent, preferring to immobilize them or if he has to, knock them out.

Kendaen's powers come from his mutant gean and his natural strength.

Kendaen's main ability is his martial arts training. He was trained initially by his father who in turn was trained by a real master. Before he became a hero in Paragon, Kendaen trained under a real Sensi, his father said the experience would be it's own reward.

Kendaen's second ability is his mutant power, Regeneration. Cuts and wounds, bruises and broken bones, all these injuries healed a lot faster for him than they would for a human.

Kendaen can shapeshift into three different forms. A human form, a beast form and a hybrid form. None of the forms grant Ken any extra traints or abilities, they just alter his appearance. In the hybrid and beast forms tiger stripes appear all over his body and in the beast form his skin color changes to white and he grows a tail. The form he chooses depends on the situation and his mood. He also has a habit of rolling his Rs which makes him sound like he is growling a lot.

Kendaen can jump good, really good. Like his regenerative and shape shifting abilities Ken's ability to jump comes from his mutant gene, He'd like to say he can "jump tall buildings in a single bounce" but he can only do about five stories straight up. Distance is a little different, he can manage about 150m - 200m and he loves to "Roof Hop".

As mentioned about, his main ability is also he greatest power. His martial arts skills are wide, he was trained initially by his father. But he could not teach Ken enough and he wanted to learn more. He was sent to Japan to study under a real master. He learnt so much more under a real Sensei than he could from his father.
Besides his martial arts skills, Kendaen loves computers, he loves building them and tinkering with them. He has surprisingly nimble fingers for someone with such big hands.

Water, Ken can't swim.
He also has a very short temper when the wrong things are said at the wrong time, especially, "Freak".
[edit] Character History
Kendaen was born to a human mother and mutant father in Kings Row, Paragon City. He was quickly labeled a freak and constantly bullied. His father decided to train him in basic martial arts to give him a weapon against the bullies and muggers.
When he was 10 years old he was six feet tall and by the time he was fifeteen he was nine feet tall. It was pretty obvious he had inherited his father's mutant gene. When he was sixteen his powers manifested themselves for the first time. He was mugged and fought back, he got stabbed in the arm and the mugger fled with nothing. Standing in the street with a small stream of blood trickling down his arm, he watched in amazement as the wound healed itself in front of him leaving a scar, he quickly ran home, by the time he got there, the wound had completely healed, even the scar.
Shortly after this his father decided to send him to Japan. If he wanted to be a hero he needed to learn from a real master, not just some simple self defence moves. He also said, "The experience itself would be it's own reward." He stayed in Japan for several years and learnt more from his teacher there than he could from anywhere else in a life time. Shortly after returning, Ken applied for his Hero License and he became a H class citizen.
Now, with the second Rikti Invasion in full swing Kendaen chose to fight on the front line joining the Vanguard's Shield division. He also helps the PPD with Villain related issues, such as robberies, arson and kidnappings.
