Demonic Machine was a concept that I'd had in mind for some time. With the super-advanced AIs that have been created in the CoX universe, as well as the 'ghost in the machine' element of The Doctor in the Doctor's Ally Crey story-arc, it occurred to me that if AIs could become so human and alive, they might be subject to telepathy or even demonic possession.

I started with the idea of a computer deliberately built with techno-magic to be able to be possessed. A demon bound into a computer to allow better control of it with wards built into the very circuitry. It seemed an apt resource for The League of Scoundrels to create.

But this character came from the other side. A demon sensing a vulnerable spirit in an advanced android and taking possession entirely of the immortal body.

Demonic Machine calls upon hellfire as his primary power, using it to entrap, choke, and enslave his foes.

Drawing still upon the hellfire of his true nature, Demonic Machine hurls bolts of raw hellfire upon his foes.

Scirocco himself took great interest in Demonic Machine and granted him patronage within the Arachnos Heirarchy. Scirocco helped the ancient demonic spirit within the android to understand the powers of electricity within his form, and harness this as surely as he could harness the fires of his spirit.
