Demonic Jason

Demonic Jason is my first real RP character and was originally called 'Jason Storm' as a fire/nrg blaster. I thought it would be a fun idea to have his story and transformation happen in realtime CoH. So I remade him as a Tanker with the same powersets (ie fire/nrg). The fun aspect of playing him is how different he is according to his two states. In his human state, which you will almost always find him in, he is as vulnerable as the victims you see on the street, however in his Demonic Form he becomes an all powerful being to rival any hero or villain. I hope you enjoy reading about him as much as I enjoy playing him.

[edit] Appearance
In his human form Jason is a fair skinned mountain of a man. Standing at six feet-eight inches with his muscular frame can easily lead people to believe he is supernatural, whereas while in Human form he is nothing more than a strong human. His eyes, since his transformation, are always hidden behind flame-resistant sunglasses.
On his upper body are faint ancient markings, not tattooed with ink, but a marking of his heritage. In his human form the markings are faint.
In his demon form, however, his skin turns a dark purple and the once faint markings on his chest turn to a deep black. The markings on his chest regularly take different shades, going on how powerful he currently is. In his human form they are almost transparent and hard to see, however in his fully transformed state they are a thick black. Emerging from his back are a massive pair of deep purple and black wings, enabling him with the ability to fly at great speeds.

As a youngster, Jason was very arrogant and reckless. He constantly seeked thrills and would achieve such by stealing vehicles and joyriding them, often leaving them abandoned at the scene of the accident. Very distrusting of other people, he would often find himself in confrontations with strangers, even assaulting them if his mood felt like it.
However since the discovery of his true heritage and the powers he has, Jason has matured alot. He has vowed to protect those who cannot protect themselves, by whatever means neccessary. It is not known how much control over himself he has while in his Demonic State, however he is perfectly capable of conversing with others and seemingly causing no harm.

The only ability Jason has in his human form is a resistance to heat, he possesses no other supernatural ability and is easily killed. Nevertheless he is still in peak physical condition and as a result from this is quite strong and durable naturally, but nothing more than a stronger-than-average human.

While in this state, his strength grows to a supernatural level and his durability increases dramtically. He has some control over fire and energy, and he can be killed in this state. This form is somewhat of a hybrid between human and the full demonic state.

While in his full Demonic State, Jason has supernatural strength and can not be killed. He also possesses extreme control over fire as well as energy, able to wield them both to bring great destruction on his enemies. Jason has been known to lose control of his strength on a rare occasion, an example being when he threw a mugger halfway across Paragon City.
His stamina in his Demon State is also quite remarkable, being able to fight for extended peroids of time without rest. However it is worthwhile to note that while his stamina is good, he can and will get tired when facing more powerful foes, and this is the key to defeating him.
[edit] Vulnerabilities
In his fully transformed Demonic State, Jason has no immediate weaknesses. While he cannot be killed, if he is tired out to a dramatic extent he will be forced to retreat back to his human form. Once forced back to his Human Form he is at great risk of death as he possesses abilities or powers and thus is easily killed. It is worthwhile to note however that he is capable of fighting for long peroids of time, so foes have to be clever or abnormally strong to weaken him.
If attacked in his Human Form, he could very well be killed instantly without entering his Demonic State. However non fatal wounds will cause him to transform into his more powerful Demon Form.

[edit] Young Jason
Jason doesn't know much about his parents, however he constantly wonders about his father. He met his mother only once, when he was 12. She was a small, frail & fragile woman and Jason, even at a young age, was massive. He guessed that his size must have came from his father, however he hasn't ever met him.
By the age of 14 Jason was amusing himself by stealing, joyriding and abandoning vehicles. Sports cars and bikes were his vehicles of choice, and he would often steal these vehicles while the owners were with them, sometimes causing physical harm. He was no more or no better than your typical street thug. His first face with death was when, while out on a joyride of a stolen motorcycle, he lost control of the bike and skidded off. His body, along with the bike were sent off the edge of a cliff. However the trail of his black leather trench coat snagged on some rocks and he was left to dangle as the bike plummited to a small explosion below.
This event changed him somewhat, and to keep himself occupied he decided to start weight training. Jason excelled at perfecting his body and even after a few months his body was rapidly changing, which due to his now 6 feet 3 inch frame, was quite remarkable.
[edit] Jason's Accident
When Jason was 17, he witnessed a young woman being assaulted. He shouted towards the attacker and the man took off, after making sure the woman was okay, Jason ran after him. The man, obviously not wanting to confront a now muscular six foot eight powerhouse, ran for his life through all sorts of buildings. Jason eventually caught up to the man in a strange looking laboratory, upon confronting the man, the man revealed himself to be a member of the Freakshow gang capable of controlling large amounts of electricty. The man then managed to lock Jason into the laboratory, which he then blew up..
When the rubble was cleared, Jason was nowhere to be seen. Infact, he had miraculously survived the blast and was safe at his Atlas Park apartment. Only now, his entire body was shaking with new found energy, he found his body was radiating with strange energies, and he was able to control fire.
[edit] Enter.. Jason Storm!
With his new found abilities, Jason took the alias of "Jason Storm" and swore to protect the city. He fashioned a flame resistant suit and, on the day of his 18th birthday, took to the streets for the first time.
He loved it, the powers he had and the reaction of those he saved. He was able to shoot large bolts of fire from his hands and knock enemies long distances with his energy induced blows. Jason not only wished to help those who couldn't help themselves, he felt as if he owed it to the city after his younger more reckless days, and he did just that. For a year of his life he was the perfect hero, not the most powerful by any means, but his dedication made up for what he lacked, and he was starting to feel good about himself once again.
As time went on, he became more and more powerful and his body was into overdrive. By his 19th birthday he was at his peak physical condition and his powers had peaked too. His body, however, could no longer take the punishment it was receiving, and on one fatefull night, Jason collapsed in an alleyway and did not wake up.
[edit] The truth about Jason Storm
Jason lay, naked and surrounded by flames, on the damp dark alleyway as the truth was revealed to him. In his slumber, Jason had the vision of a Demonic Power hailing him, granting him one last chance at life on the condition he bore the demons mark, the mark of Jason's father. It all made sense, he had never met his father before but he knew there must have been something odd about him, as Jason was never a regular human being.
When he awoke, he had changed.
His skin had turned pale, and his body was covered in the black markings of his father, whiched seemed to change shade depending on the mood he was in. A large pair of wings had sprouted from his back which, with practice, granted him the ability to fly. His eyes were now enflamed with a demonic green glow and his finger-nails had grew excessively, almost resembling a claw. Jason tried to fight the demon inside him, but the more he fought the more drastic the changes had became.
Jason eventually learnt to control his transformation, which would come in three stages. He could stay as a human, fair skinned and built like he was before with the markings on his body being very faint, bestowed with no gifts whatsoever other than a resistance to heat. He could let the Demon within take hold of him, while still retaining some human in him. His skin would turn a sickly white colour, his wings would return and the markings on his body would darken. His third form was to embrace the demon fully, his skin would turn a dark purple and the markings a deep black.

Jason's mother was impregnated by an Inncubus, Jason's father. He is therefor half human and half demon.
