| Any who have an interest in the dark world could find out the history of Deepcut with little trouble. He has not exactly been keeping quiet since his escape and the Flaming Kid is a wizard at computers and that Internet thing. There's even a site set up for Deepcut - though many think it is just a work of fiction. The more personal aspects of his life beyond the fact that his partner is the Flaming Kid can only be known by those he (or the Kid) has actually told. | |
A childe who cut his way out of the mortal womb which carried him for nine months. His first victim the mother who could have told him of his vampire father. The man now, a product of institutional violence. He delights in the screams and warm blood of others yet seeks something more. He is homosexual and has been in a relationship for the past five years with the younger villain named The Flaming Kid.
NB Deepcut does not see himself as a villain or even evil. He sees himself as a victim, not only for his hybrid nature but also for the failings of the "establishment" to give him a proper childhood. Yep - he's got issues.
This profile is no longer up to date with very recent plot driven changes effecting both Deepcut and his partner Flaming Kid. [edit] Affiliations
He works freelance, often doing deeds for Arachnos. He agrees with the basic mindset of what Arachnos is doing - subjugate the masses and let only the strong have power. He does not of course agree that those in power should be.
Member of Court of the Blood Countess, a dark group of vampires, werewolves, demons and other beings who are normally shunned by society.
His closest friend and lover is Kip Carrington who is better known as The Flaming Kid. Deepcut met the Kid in the Zig when the Kid was a fresh faced 17 year old. They formed a very close relationship over the next five years and can often be seen together in the clubs.

Deepcut is aggressive, confrontational, sadistic and domineering. He delights in causing his victims as much pain as possible without actually killing them. Yet he has also been a caring lover for the young man who shared in cell during his last five years in the Ziggurat.
[edit] Motivation
His primary motivator is pain - to cause it to others, to drench himself in their blood. Secondary is wealth. Contending hotly for the primary place is companionship - yet Deepcut is very careful and has not formed any lasting relationships since he left the Ziggurat.
At the back of his mind is the fact that his father, a true vampire, is out there somewhere.

[edit] Vampiric Powers
Being a vampire/human hybrid, many of the typical vampire powers are either missing are have not yet manifested themselves. For example he is unable to fly, is not immortal and has no telepathic powers at all. He does however have a fantastic rate of regeneration, his party trick being to slash deep cuts into his broad chest which heal over in a matter of seconds leaving no trace. His fingers transform into sharp claws at will, these claws are able to cut through almost anything like a hot knife through butter.
[edit] Development of Powers
While Deepcut was in the various institutions he was not able to fully explore his own powers. Now that he is free he is finding that some powers are becoming stronger whilst other new powers are manifesting themselves. Basically his vampiric side is becoming more dominant and his body starts to undergo more changes.
He will discover the ability to defy gravity soon ((hover/flight)). His regenerative powers will grow at an alarming rate ((swift/health/stamina)).
Though there are no plans (as yet) for him to turn fully into a vampire he will grow wings - at level 20 when the extra costume slot opens up.
As his powers develop he will lose the humanity which still rests inside of him. How this will impact upon his relationships is yet to be discovered - though it does not bode well.
[edit] Abilities
Whilst in prison (all his life until the age of 30) he learned to pierce every part of the male body. He did not need to use needles - his sharp claws combined with the saliva result in perfect piercings which never become infected. He has pierced his own nipples and also claims to have a self set Prince Albert piercing (though you have be a special friend to get to see that).
[edit] Vulnerabilities
His hybrid status means that the typical vampiric "problems" are not an issue. He does not need to and in fact does not drink blood. He can function in daylight as well as at night. Though his skin does burn in bright sunlight (a good dose of sunblock gets around this though). He is not able to consume food with a lot of garlic in it - doing so makes him violently sick.
The fact that he has been the partner of The Flaming Kid for fives years is probably his biggest vulnerability at the moment. If anything were to happen to the Kid then his world would be broken.
[edit] Vampiric allure
Deepcut does find his partial vampire status fascinating. Becoming a full vampire is tantalising and yet despite how he may secretly desire this it also scares the hell out of him as it would mean the end of his humanity.
[edit] Equipment
Apart from his collection of leather jeans, boots, harnesses, whips and chains he needs and desires nothing.
He does however carry a small photograph in is pocket of a young men with bright orange hair and a cheeky grin on his face, the words "yours forever - Kip" are written on the front in golden ink. This is of course the image of the most important person in the world for Deepcut, his lover The Flaming Kid.
[edit] Character History
Deepcut clawed his way out of his mothers womb 30 years ago. The horrific screams made by his mother as he gouged his way through her body alarmed her neighbours and the authorities found his tiny grey form dripping in the crimson blood of his dead mother. The whole incident was hushed up and the baby removed for study. No birth certificate was issued, the baby did not legally exist and that's just how they wanted it.
At the age of 12 and whilst being held in top security young offenders institution he was in effect kidnapped by a gang of Council soldiers who sought to use study him for a new form of soldier. As his control over what were limited powers at the time was minimal the Council found him lacking and he was cast away and forgotten in one of their cells for five years. His time as a prisoner of the Council ended when a so-called hero busted the base and discovered the cells in which Deepcut was imprisoned. Rather than release the young man who had not actually committed any crime the hero took him to the Ziggurat where he spent the next 13 years of his life.
His time in the Zig started out bad for Deepcut. He was clearly the product of a vampire and he suffered many beatings and rapes. All this changed in a matter of months though as he finally mastered control over his basic powers of the claws and regeneration. The victim became the master and he stalked the corridors seeking those he could inflict untold pain on.
When he had been in the Zig for 8 years he was the undisputed master of his domain. A young man, no older than 17 entered the wing and there was something about this man which appealed to Deepcut much more than the base sexual needs he had fulfilled in brutal ways all of his life. This man was named Kip Carrington but also went by the name of The Flaming Kid due to his pyromania. Kip was moved in to Deepcut's cell and the two of them become lovers. This was the first time Deepcut had ever experienced love or tender physical contact with another being. Kip brought him back from the brink of his bestial nature.
Deepcut and Kip Carrington initally lost contact with each other during a breakout from the Zig. Deepcut went off down the path of darkness once again and The Flaming Kid sought out a "normal" life. They have met up several times since and are once again partners though Deepcut does not allow the Kid to spend time in his lair with the vampires for he fears for the safety of his beloved. Deepcut knows that his vampiric traits are starting to take over and he fears for the future of The Kid.

This is the third (and darkest) incarnation of Deepcut.
