| Crud is not a secretive type hero but not many people know about the Forgotten Plains so the best answer is to just ask him. | |

[edit] Character concept
Firstly let me say this was in no way meant as a “Conan” clone and bizarrely enough hadn’t even been thought of at time of conception. The main inspiration for this hero was the new weapon choices available at character creation, the new war hammer option under war mace reminded me of various cover artwork to a similarly inspired game I’ve played for a long time. Add in a splash of Terry Pratchett style humour and Crud was born. I really like the idea of a slightly light-hearted character as I feel they have great flexibility and Crud so far has been really fun to play.
[edit] Affiliations
The Heroes of the Wolf Supergroup
Paragon City Labourer’s Union
Various construction work companies
[edit] Personality
Two words can sum up Crud - Awkward and Honourable. He is the caring do-gooder type hero always trying his best to do the right thing and save the day. Unfortunately his size and clumsy nature tend to get in the way more often than not and he gets embarrassed by this. He sticks by his word when it is given and admires honour, respect, loyalty and courage in others - showing signs of any of these is a sure way to become friends with Crud. He has a small thing for strong women and can become slightly over flirty but his heart is always in the right place. Somewhat homesick at times he takes his mind off by patrolling or working.
[edit] Motivation
Crud was unofficially banished because of his clumsiness. His main desire is to regain his honour and finally be able to return home a hero. He has strong morale codes and believes greatly in honour, respect, loyalty and courage these are the guiding forces in everything he tries to do.

[edit] Primary Powers
A man of his word, courage, honour, a good heart, respect all these remain true to Crud. Although unofficially banished from his homelands Crud still has that utmost inner self belief that allows him to “go that extra mile” when things get tough. This power will grow as he becomes more confident in himself.
[edit] Secondary Powers
The war hammer has always been Crud’s favourite weapon. He trains on a daily basis and is constantly honing/developing his martial skills.
[edit] Additional Powers
Crud is still finding his feet in Paragon City but can be a quick learner so there is potential for him to gain new powers.
[edit] Travel
Because of the rugged terrain of Crud’s homeland and him being used to chasing Yaks he has found that here in Paragon City he can run much faster than most normal people.

[edit] Abilities
From Crud’s upbringing in the Forgotten Plains he has strong survival skills because of the tough lifestyle there. He is a keen hunter and tracker as well as having good flora and fauna recognition abilities. He has some farming skills from helping out his mother and father. Crud has developed some smithing skills in armour and weaponry so that he can maintain his equipment. To make a living here in Paragon City he has trained in the labourer profession and has various skills enabling him to do a variety of tasks that may be required.
[edit] Vulnerabilities
Crud is human so has the same potential weaknesses. His strong sense of honour can be just as much a vulnerability as a bonus. He cannot resist the “damsel in distress” which could easily lead him to trouble. Crud is without doubt one of the most clumsiest people in the world and this has a habit of showing itself at the most inconvenient moments.
[edit] Equipment
Trusty war hammer, light armour. Various labourer tools kept in his mobile home.
[edit] Character History
[edit] Trivia
Crud has found a shop in Steel Canyon that sells Yak’s milk cheese, he visits here at least twice a week after work to stock up on a small slice of home.
