Simon North started out as my take on an Iron Man kind of character, only less arsey and more down to Earth. Never being fond of Blasters, he started as a Scrapper in a metal suit, which wasn't ideal. So I toned it down a bit and he's now slightly Iron Man, slightly Batman and slightly...bits and pieces. He's still growing day by day, and it gets more and more fun every time I play him.

Simon was born back in November of 1981 to a reasonably well off family in Chelsea, London. He grew up educated well and went to a prestigious University to study Robotics and Engineering when he was 19. Finishing his 3 year course, he took over from the then small Hyperion Electronics business from his father. Wanting to expand this into a company his father dreamed of, he moved to America when he was 20. He set up in Paragon, whose market was booming at the time. Until the 1st Rikti Invasion. Seeing all the death, destruction and heart break it caused, Simon vowed to do what he could. He offered his services at low prices, offered deals and discounts for heroes who needed him now more than ever. But he felt it was never enough. So he began working on the TITAN battlesuit, something which would enable him to help in a much more hands on way. After 14 months, the first prototype was built and Simon tested it in the field. 3 months later, and the suit has gone through many changes, particularly now incorporating Vanguard pieces and their Impervium technology, but Simon still uses it to fight against those who prey on the weak.
RECENT HISTORY
After getting involved with the Super Hero Community in Paragon, Simon joined up with a group called The Militia after a fun beach party where he met a few of the members. One particular one stuck in his mind: Royal Flush. They both began spending more time with each other and eventually became an item one night in Pocket D. Working together and 'playing' together, they were both extremely happy and ready for anything. On one night after a crime fighting session, Nicky/Royal headed home, feeling beat from the workout. The next morning, news arose that Nicky's apartment had been bombed, and nothing was left. Simon was devastated and spent the next day beating every villain in his path in Brickstown to try and find a lead. With nothing appearing, he ended up crying himself to sleep on a ledge of a skyscraper, wishing he'd asked her to stay for that one last drink... 3 days passed, and no one was giving up any clues. Then, Simon's phone began to ring. He hurriedly answered it and heard a panicked Nicky on the other end, but for a very short while. Emotions went wild, and Simon knew there was hope after all.
The investigations into her whereabouts still continue, with Simon spending most of his waking hours looking for her, while not running Hyperion Electronics or trying to be a Hero. With the 2nd Rikti Invasion, Simon has become increasingly distant, and some are fearing for his mental health.

The Militia:
Simon joined The Militia after a beach party, where he met Royal Flush, Ebon Tear and Dawn Rise. Slightly infatuated, but also admiring their camaraderie, Simon applied soon after. He was accepted into the ranks and became a Member after passing his trial along with Kevin, Silver Eagle and Sam, Scorche. These 3 quickly got to know each other and are often seen at the D most nights. Simon and Royal Flush, or Nicky, also became good friends, and more.
