Passionate and obsessive about anything that interestings him, pushes himself as much as he can to better Paragon City and very talkative if started on a subject he enjoys. Also has a thirst for Knowledge, particually on Void Weaponry which he has been researching for a long while.

Fighting Crime has been a life-long ambition. He was desperate to obtain Superpowers like a very good friend of his, it became obvious to him very quickly that the only way he was going to be able to fight crime was to use his flair for machinery to create some kind of Suit to fight crime. Now his main motivation is stopping his Sister from her self-destuctive path of villainy

The Cpt and his Sister grew up in England until his Mothers death, there father left them to fend for themselves. Doug tried to take care of his sister while carrying on his studying. He was pushed too far however trying to do too much. He was hospitised at 17 with stress, after he was released from Hospital he found his sister had taken almost all the money she could find, sold a lot of there belongings and had moved away. Doug finished College determined to finish what he had started then moved to America where two of his good friends had moved. He soon ended up in Paragon City where he joined the PPD where he began work on his Justice Suit. He was in the PPD until 2002 when the Rikti Attacked. Realising that the City required more Superpowered Help now that many Heroes had been killed and also being drawn to the Clockwork which had begun appearing in the Wake of the War the Cpt applied for, and was granted a Hero Licence in early 2003. Since then he has been fighting for Justice and Freedom of his fellow humans.
