Chi was one of my first ever characters, and is most likely my favourite overall. Although he may be considered a "gimp" in PvE, he is still very enjoyable to play and RP with. However, beware of flying enemies when he's around! His alter-ego of Burning Chi can be found on Villains, as a Corruptor.

[edit] Affiliations

Long since outlived his relatives, Chi is only able to rely on his Supergroup for the time being, The Equilibrium. Not many are able to see past Chi's Tsoo origin, and either decide to attack or run. However, after the large surge in Vanguard and Rikti activity, more are beginning to see which side he is really on.

[edit] Personality

Tub Ci maintains a straight, expressionless face at all times. After seeing the failures and achievements of mankind, he feels it right to listen to what is being said, in order to see if another failure is coming. Chi rarely talks, and when he does it is usually in a metaphorical sense, hinting at what he thinks his team-mates should do.

[edit] Motivation

Chi's fate to fight evil was already decided, before he was born. His path began in a small village in China. The elders and wielders of dark magic trained him as "The One" from the first hour of his birth. On his tenth birthday, the elders warned the village of a great threat that would kill them all. This "great threat" was an attack of what we now know to be ancient Tsoo Warriors. Killing all in sight, and taking Chi with them, Chi was brought up as "Tub Ci Tang", and later went on to lead the Tsoo in their schemes, which they still carry on today. Chi, constantly spoken to by the elders, has his own agenda. Leading a small group of Tsoo, he know fights to maintain a balance of good and evil within the world- Starting in Paragon.

[edit] Powers

Trained in many arts, Chi mainly uses his abilities of dark magic- often causing him to turn into his more destructive self.

[edit] Primary Powers

His magic of choice is that of Storm Control, the ability to change and wield violent winds and storms to thwart his enemies or assist his friends.

[edit] Secondary Powers

When in times of need, Chi sacrifices some of his soul to harm others with powerful dark magic. This is on very rare occassions, though, and Chi is often reluctant to show this power even when ordered to. When forced to use these abilities for too long, the overload in dark magic will most likely lead to him becoming "Burning" Chi as the media has started calling him.

[edit] Additional Powers

Perhaps the most impressive ability is his great power to control time. This allows him to seemingly teleport himself and others to any given destination. Chi is able to fold time and "step" into any hour of any day.

[edit] Travel

Chi's main method is travel is probably the train, although he likes to think it's his very draining art of teleportation.

[edit] Vulnerabilities

Although Tub Ci may possess immense power, physically he is an old and frail man, and if anyone is able to bypass his magic, it won't take much to do a lot of damage to him.

[edit] Equipment

Chi technically carries no "equipment" to aid him in his quests. However, all of his power is derived from the many tattoos found across his body. The ink is a large Tsoo secret, and no one is completely sure as to how they are able to draw power from it.
