Character concept .. A hero because someone had to make a stand and defend the local community from the rest of the world , hes not a hero out to save the world , hes just trying to make his home town a safe place to live in .

He is only a hero because he has no other way to look after his family , home and community . He cares little for those outside his home area , reguarding the rest of the city as exploiters and criminals . He is anger with the world for the way it is , but smart enough to know he does not have a answer .

Kin...able to manipulate energy and get it to flow from one person to another , thus incressing the atributes of the one , while reducing the targets , currently he can heal and boost peoples strength and speed .

born in a king's row slum , to a already large family Mac's early life was learning the lessons of the poverty trap , and how escape is impossible . As a young boy he saw how the system grinds down the workers , exploites them and keeps them poor and dependant. He soon learned that politics provided only illusions and no real changes or answers . He saw first hand how the criminal to uses the poor as victim and stooge , and he realised that was no route out of the slums . As a teenage he first found his love of motor vechical , and soon fell in with the local biker gang , however his sharp mind ment he did not stray down the path of the more villainous gangs , as he passion for bike engines kept him with the honest bikers. Through out his youth his anger grew and grew at the heplessness of his communities situation , here was a group of honest hard working families , caught be the cycle of poverty , prey to ths bosses and the crooks , ignored by the goverment and even by the flashy heroes he saw on the TV news . As he started work as a truck driver for one of the local factories , he started to see more of the city and his resentment at the way of the world grew . It was not till his twenties that his mutant powers where unleashed , why that had lay dorment for so long is unknow , but he soon had full control over them . he pondered long about what to do , , he had no desire to be a flashy hero , but he wanted to help his own kind out. So he started to make nightly patrols seeking out the crooks and villain gangs that plagued his king's Row home , avoiding the public as he went . But he soon found himself saving a family from a robbery , and the children asked him which hero he was .. .. as kids do they were soon arguing between themselves .. and one insisted he must be Captain something cos all men heroes are called Captain in his comic .. then a girl chipped in that as he's a hero he must be Captain Hero .. by this time Mac had fleed the house hoping to remain unknown .. For once the police and press attended the crime scene , and a small human intrest item made it into the papers tell how Capt. Hero have saved 7 small children , and their parents , from a Skull gang attack. Mac realise that the could not escape notice , ansd so the started to exploit it , he found bits and made up a flashy hero costume , and taking the childrens name he became Capt. Hero .
As a hero Mac is really only concerend about his home area , but he has found that to defeart one gang you have to work your way along the chain towards the top bosses . this Has caused him problems as he still see a lot to do keeping king's row safe . he resents the time he has to spend dealing with other areas / crook .. and this makes him anger and more agreesive to that work.
Mac still spend his real life driving truck , working on his motorbikes , hes still in hisd orginal biker gang ,and trying to live a normal life . But the anger often surfaces and he puts on the flashy suits and become Capt. Hero .
Capt. Heros look has evoled as mac has gained access to better raw materials , the costumes are based around comic book heros and are , as Mac calles them , Flashy with bright colours and capes . Capt. hero always appears as a friendly hero of the public , but never seeks publicity , and is a man of few words , and comes across as quite humble . To crooks and villian he tries to instill a real fear , in a hope to deter any returning .
Capt. Hero has limited himself to this home turf , normally only venturing far to follow up a lead or find a culprit , so he has never become a widly known figure . He does not really trust the police to do a proper jobs , and so he often will make suere the villain regrets his actions well before the cops arrive .
Any attack on the poeple of his home strrets enrages him and he will show little mercy to any such attackers.
