My first character on CoX. I'd really like to get him into an RP, but I'm not entireley sure how. Anyone with an opening somewhere?

He is a long standing member of the United Kingdom Polar Research group, a group committed to uncovering the secrets of the Polar regions and the Inuit. The Magic Arm of NATO He is also engaged to one Linda Smith, of Bristol.

Contrary to his power, he has a warm disposition. It's just, he's a bit touchy. About a lot of things. A LOT of things. Mostly his size.

The UK government have 'loaned' him to America for the time being. So, the chance of allowed back to England to marry his childhood sweetheart.
[edit] Powers
Blizzard Frost uses magic to slow down the atoms in the air. But the only ones that require the least magic and least endurance are water molecules. Anything elce is just too strong. Despite only two percent of the atmosphere is water vapour, he manages to create massive blocks of ice around his fists.

[edit] Ice Armour
One of the first things he learned was that he could bypass the laws of thermodynamics. All of a sudden, he could make the water molecules around his body move a lot slower, creating for himself an armour of ice, which can stop any bullets fired at him. Further research made scientists beleave that if he controls his powers, he can make freeze his entire body into a sleep, which heals him of his ills.
[edit] Ice Melee
As above, Blizzard has found a way to manipulate water molecules for offensive purposes. He froze the water around his fists into gloves of solid ice, which can make for formidable weapons. Further research suggests that, soon, he will be able to affect molecules not nesessarily close to his body to freeze.
[edit] Additional Powers
By freezing the water on the soles of his shoes, and the water on the ground, he can effectively slide across the city. Also, by manipulating the molecules, they can carry him up. He hasn't made them go very fast, but he can hover out of harm's way.

Frost is a proflific reader. Since finding the Heart, he has found he can read Arcane Symbols, if he applies himself. The most recent is finding a lost civilization in Antartica. After his stay in Paragon, and marrying Linda, he hopes to find this lost city in Virgin Continent.

Quite obviously, fire. Sort of related, but he finds physists have an aversion to him. Apparently his power upsets them or something.

Snow Goggles and a scarf. He wears the snow goggles because it helps him see magical auras and fields. It also has sentimental value, as it belonged to his father. He just like wearing the scarf. He says it's Headology. And it reminds him of Linda.

[edit] The Early Years
Born 8th June, 1972, Frenchay Hospital, Bristol. Got interested in the artic and antartic at an early age. If it had anything to do with the polar reigons, he loved it. Hours and hours he'd watch of documentaries of the place. He'd by any toy remotely to do with snow and ice. He excelled at geography in school. After university he joined the UKPR group.
[edit] The Research Years
He sailed though their intrduction college with ease. Soon enough he was in Alaska, talking to Eskimos. He built their confidence over the years, living and working with them for months at a time. In 1995, his good friends the Inuit told him of a mighty artifact that lay on the Russian side of the Bering Strait. Risking international backlash, he went with a husky team to the place of the artifact. What they found was a perfectly preserved body of a Mongol warrior. The ice around him looked almost as if it was sculptured around him. His face was a perminant mask of fear. It looked as though we was trying to run away. The pendant around his neck was still glowing, after hundreds of years in the ice. It was too late when Arthur realised the pendant was melting the ice to try and get to him. It jumped at him and went staight to his heart.
[edit] The Hero Years
He was in a coma for three months. When he came around, he froze nearly half his room. Some men in coats took him away and studied him. After another month of study, they declared that he was to be put on the Mage's register. They trained him to use his powers for use of the government. By the December of 1996, he was a Hero. Bristol, however was notriously short of Supervillains. He did help the police with several drug busts, and he was used as a poster boy in the new millenium. Most of the time he was catching up with his old girlfriend, Linda Smith, and reading up about magic in forgotten libraries. He proposed to Linda in August 2007. In September, he was called to Paragon, apparently on loan to America. He promised Linda they would be married once he returns, if he ever will.

Arthur has aired his views there might be other pendants like the one he has, though his efforts have been fruitless.
