Beetle Girl can grow a carapace over her skin, which also sports wings. This carapace is very resilient. Her wings allow flight. When her carapace is out, she appears to have enhanced senses and reflexes, although quite how is unknown.

Beetle Girl always has above average strength, above that of the average human adult. She is also very resilient to harm, taking full punches with little or no bruising. In her normal body, however, a gun is still a gun.
